In 2023 we worked with Verizon to create a welcome film for the tech hub at their London HQ, shown to visitors on one of the largest LED screens of its kind in the UK. The brief was to show how Verizon’s approach to building business infrastructure and support networks leads the industry, and, above all, how it’s different.
Verizon trusted us to interpret how they build their networks as a series of abstract ideas about scale. Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames’ Powers of Ten, we explored how modern networks demonstrate biomimicry from the micro to the kiloscale. We built a minute-long sequence that takes the viewer through the human body, past weird and wonderful futuristic interpretations of organic infrastructure, and out to a vast landscape of computational monoliths and flowing data. The visuals were complemented perfectly by Echoic's sound design.
